A 31-year-old died Monday after being shot Aug. 20 in South Baltimore, and a 42-year-old died last week after being shot nearly two decades ago, according to Baltimore Police.

Police said that the 31-year-old, identified as Rodney Lee, was found critically injured by a gunshot wound after officers responded at 11:10 p.m. Aug. 20 to the 2700 block of Fisk Street in Cherry Hill.

Lee was taken to a hospital, where he died on Monday, police said.

The 42-year-old, Travis Cooper, died at a residence Wednesday, police said. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner determined that Cooper had died from complications related to injuries received from a shooting when he was 22.

Police said Cooper had been shot May 26, 2005, in the 2800 block of Mayfield Avenue in the Belair-Edison neighborhood in Northeast Baltimore.

Those with information on either shooting can contact homicide detectives at 410-396-2100 or anonymously use Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7Lockup.
