    Here's what you need to know about the 175th Calhoun County Fair

    MARSHALL — The 175th Calhoun County Fair is almost here, and there's plenty of fun planned through the week for the whole family.

    The fair runs Aug. 11-17, with livestock and exhibit judging alongside carnival rides and a variety of entertainment.

    Grandstand events

    • 7 p.m. Monday: TK Pro Rodeo with special guest Dewayne Spaw. Tickets: $15-$50
    • 7 p.m. Tuesday: SJO Supercross. Tickets: $15-$20
    • 7 p.m. Wednesday: NTPA Tractor Pull. Tickets: $12-$15
    • 7 p.m. Thursday: Truck Pulls. Tickets: $15-$20
    • 7 p.m. Friday: Night of Destruction. Tickets: $15-$50
    • 6:30 p.m. Saturday: Demolition Derby. Tickets: $15-$50

    Special fair week days

    • Monday: Veterans and First Responders' Day - All active duty, veterans and first responders receive free gate entry with ID from 9 a.m.-3p.m.
    • Tuesday: Kids Day - Activities in the Belcher Building 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Superheroes and princesses will be around the fair 10:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
    • Wednesday: Senior and Health Day - Seniors 60 and older receive free gate entry and free activities in the Belcher Building from 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
    • Thursday: Firekeepers Casino and Hotel Team Member Day
    • Friday: Ag and Industrial Day - Job fair and farmers market in the Belcher Building from 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
    • Saturday: Teacher Appreciation Day - All education personnel receive free gate entry from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. ID is required.
