    175th Calhoun County Fair runs through Saturday

    MARSHALL — The 175th Calhoun County Fair continues through Saturday, with livestock and exhibit judging alongside carnival rides and a variety of entertainment.

    The TK Pro Rodeo kicked off grandstand events Monday night, but there are plenty more events to soak in through the week.

    Grandstand events

    • 7 p.m. Thursday: Truck Pulls. Tickets: $15-$20
    • 7 p.m. Friday: Night of Destruction. Tickets: $15-$50
    • 6:30 p.m. Saturday: Demolition Derby. Tickets: $15-$50

    Special fair week days

    • Thursday: Firekeepers Casino and Hotel Team Member Day
    • Friday: Ag and Industrial Day - Job fair and farmers market in the Belcher Building from 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
    • Saturday: Teacher Appreciation Day - All education personnel receive free gate entry from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. ID is required.
