Camille Robinson of Harper Creek is Enquirer Athlete of the Week winner for Sept. 16-21

BATTLE CREEK - The fans have spoken.

The winner of the latest Enquirer Athlete of the Week fan poll is Camille Robinson of the Harper Creek volleyball team.

Fans got behind Robinson to help her edge finalists Luke Lawrence, Ellie Sandel and Seth Keson. Robinson received 76 percent of the vote by the 5 p.m. Wednesday deadline. Thanks to her fans, she is being featured in this Enquirer Athlete of the Week Sunday spotlight.

Harper Creek won the Portage Northern Invitational in volleyball action on Saturday as the Beavers defeated Lakeview in the championship final, 20-25, 25-23, 15-7. Robinson, a sophomore outside hitter, had 60 kills and 24 digs on the day.

"Camille is a key offensive force for us. She generates so much power with what seems to be so little effort. While her offense is what most people are impressed with, her defense and overall court presence is what make her a complete package. She's not only exciting to watch, but also fun to coach," Harper Creek volleyball coach Terra King said.
