    Update: Police locate missing vulnerable adult

    BATTLE CREEK — Battle Creek Police are thanking the community for help in locating a missing vulnerable adult.

    Battle Creek Police have confirmed that the missing 56-year-old Battle Creek man, Brian Duane Piper, was found safe around 8 p.m. Monday.

    Piper was located in good health on M-37 in Bedford Village. He is now safe and at home with family, police said.

    "We would like to thank our neighbors who called in possible sightings throughout this missing person incident," police said in a statement.

    Piper was last seen at his home on Sigel Avenue around 9:30 a.m. Sunday when he was reported missing.
