STATE FAIR — The Oregon State Fair, Aug. 23-Sept. 2 at Oregon State Fairgrounds in Salem, features all the carnival fun and more. CIRQUE DU SOLEIL — The razzle-dazzle Cirque du Soleil spectacular ”Kooza” will thrill fans under the Big Top at Portland Expo Center, Aug. 21-Oct. 6. There’ll be sheer magic, daredevil performances, and mischievous clowns in “Kooza,” which delivers a signature Cirque du Soleil experience in its most exciting form with high-flying acrobatics, whimsical characters, lavish costuming, colorful sets, hilarious clowning, and a powerful live score. PARTY IN THE PARK — Wilsonville’s Party in the Park will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Aug. 22 at Town Center Park. The event features live music, civic engagement, food trucks, activities, games and giveaways.

MOLALLA PARTY — Celebrate Molalla will be held Saturday, Aug. 24, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Clark Park, 815 Shirley St., in Molalla. The event will feature local vendors, food trucks, live music, free crafts for children and more.

CANBY CRUISIN' — The 30th Annual Cutsforth’s Cruise In will welcome hundreds of classic cars to the downtown streets of Canby on Aug. 24 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Admission is free. The KISN Good Guys will be on hand for classic tunes, the Rotary Big Burger BBQ will be on hand, and food carts, pies and ice cream will be available. Willamette Valley Big Band performs. WILSONVILLE SKATE JAM — Join a community afternoon of skateboarding at the Memorial Park skatepark in Wilsonville from 1-3 p.m. Aug. 24. The event features beginner and advanced jam sessions, a prize raffle, gear and apparel giveaways and a Kona ice truck. The skate jam is presented by the Wilsonville Skatepark Association.

CARS AND BOATS — The Collector Car & Classic Boat Show is an annual Lake Oswego favorite event. See collector cars and classic boats up close from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Aug. 25 at George Rogers Park in Lake Oswego. The Oswego Heritage Council hosts this event.
