South Bend Adjusts Trash Pickup Schedule for Memorial Day Week

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – Residents of South Bend should be aware of changes to the city’s trash and yard waste pickup schedule this week due to the Memorial Day holiday. The pickup services will be delayed by one day.

Here’s the adjusted trash pickup schedule for this week:

• Monday, May 27: Memorial Day observed, no trash or yard waste pickup.
• Tuesday, May 28: Areas normally serviced on Monday.
• Wednesday, May 29: Areas normally serviced on Tuesday.
• Thursday, May 30: Areas normally serviced on Wednesday.
• Friday, May 31: Areas normally serviced on Thursday.

Residents are encouraged to place their trash and yard waste out accordingly to ensure timely collection.
