Tragic Loss: '16 and Pregnant' Star Autumn Crittendon Passes Away at 27

Henrico, Va. — The reality TV world and fans are mourning the sudden loss of Autumn (Oxley) Crittendon, a former cast member of MTV’s “16 and Pregnant.” Crittendon, who captivated audiences with her journey on the show’s fifth season, passed away on Saturday at the age of 27.

Emergency services were dispatched to Crittendon's home around 3 p.m. after reports of a medical emergency. Upon arrival, responders found Crittendon unresponsive and she was pronounced dead at the scene.

Crittendon gained recognition in 2014 when she gave birth to her son during the show. Since then, she has expanded her family with another son and a daughter.

The Medical Examiner’s Office is investigating to determine the cause and manner of her death, leaving fans and loved ones in mourning and awaiting further details.
