Goshen's Savor Summer Showcase: A Grand Finale to Summer Festivities

GOSHEN, Ind. — Downtown Goshen, Inc. invites the community to savor the final moments of summer with its "Savor Summer Showcase," the theme for September's First Fridays event. This vibrant celebration will light up the streets on Friday from 5 to 9 p.m., bringing together a lively mix of music, entertainment, and family fun.

As the warmth of summer begins to wane, this event promises a jubilant send-off with a plethora of activities. Attendees can enjoy live performances, tantalizing food from local vendors, and a range of activities designed to delight all ages. Highlighting the event is a summer-to-fall Fashion Show, showcasing the latest trends from local apparel icons like Woldruff's and I M SHE.

Amanda Rose, Director of First Fridays, shared her enthusiasm: "September often retains that summer warmth, and the Savor Summer Showcase is a perfect opportunity to gather with friends and family for one last celebration of the season. This marks the second year of the Savor Summer Showcase, and while our August Picklefest faced weather challenges, we're excited to carry forward some of those promotions into this event. We anticipate a lively crowd and are grateful to our sponsors and Downtown Goshen businesses for their continued support in making these community events possible."

The event will feature the Chill Zone, sponsored by DJ Construction and the Boys and Girls Club of Elkhart County, offering virtual reality experiences, snacks, and lawn games tailored for teens and young adults.
