GOSHEN, Ind. — A new chapter begins for Goshen Municipal Airport as Sweet Aviation prepares to take the helm, bringing a fresh wave of energy and innovation to one of Indiana's busiest air hubs. Starting September 3, Sweet Aviation, owned by Surack Enterprises, will assume control of operations from the Goshen Air Center and acquire Aircraft Charter Services, marking a significant shift in the airport's future.

With new ownership comes a series of updates aimed at enhancing the airport experience. Sweet Aviation has announced plans to introduce new signage and extend passenger terminal hours, making the airport more accessible and convenient for travelers seven days a week. This transition also connects Goshen Municipal Airport to Sweet Aviation's network of services, which includes operations at Fort Wayne International Airport, Smith Field Airport, and DeKalb County Airport.

Recognized as the seventh busiest airport in Indiana, according to the City of Goshen, Goshen Municipal Airport is a key player in regional transportation, offering a vital link for both business and leisure travel. The change in ownership signals a commitment to maintaining high standards while expanding service offerings and improving accessibility.

As Sweet Aviation takes flight in Goshen, the community and travelers alike can anticipate a blend of new services, extended operations, and an ongoing dedication to quality and connectivity. The sky is the limit for what this new partnership can achieve for the future of Goshen's aviation landscape.
