This Sunday, South Bend will host the annual CROP Walk for Hunger, a fundraiser dedicated to combating food insecurity both locally and globally. With over 50 years of tradition, the event raises money for food security projects in St. Joseph County and worldwide.

Kicking off at Zion United Church on South Cedar Street, across from Howard Park, the event begins at 2 p.m., with registration and pre-walk activities starting at 1:30 p.m. This year's goal is to raise $30,000 to support vital programs that address hunger and malnutrition in the community and beyond.

Participants in the CROP Walk not only contribute to a global cause but also take a stand for local solutions, helping ensure that families in St. Joseph County have access to the food they need.
