Paterson cops seek more information on stabbing of 4-year-old

A 4-year-old who was stabbed Friday afternoon is in stable condition, Paterson Police reported.

According to the Passaic County Prosecutor's Office, at 4:03 p.m. a call came in concerning the stabbing a 4-year-old in a home in the area of East 24th Street and 10th Avenue.

Upon arrival police found that the child had been stabbed multiple times. The victim was taken to St. Joseph's University Medical Center in Paterson.

Officials said the child has been treated and is in stable condition.
