Every food festival happening in New Jersey this September

Summer may seem like it boasts more food festivals than fall — but who wants to eat spicy empanadas, steamy pork sandwiches or greasy fish tacos in 94 degree heat?

Last month, Sal Graci of Uncle Sal's Gourmet Egg Rolls told me that, throughout July, he sold more lemonade than egg rolls out of his food truck; despite spending weeks slaving over the fryer creating the perfect crispy snacks.

The reason? It was just too hot for chicken parm and Chicago beef .

Now that September's rolled around, however, the dropping temperatures are going to allow for some of the most pleasant food events of the year. So, whether or not summer had highest number of happenings, I'm unsure, but autumn will certainly claim the highest number of attendees.

This season, be amongst that hungry crowd.
