    The New York Giants are commemorating their 100th season with a special look they're debuting today.

    The Giants are unveiling their Century Red uniforms , a combination of throwback elements honoring teams of the past, for their 1 p.m. season opener against the Minnesota Vikings at MetLife Stadium.

    The uniform features tan pants and red socks with blue and white stripes that the team wore during its inaugural 1925 season. They are wearing red jerseys with a blue stripe that features the players' numbers, a nod to their 1933 uniform, and a winged helmet that honors their 1938 NFL championship team.
