What jerseys are NY Jets wearing tonight? How 'Legacy' uniforms honor their history

The moment New York Jets fans have been waiting for has finally arrived.

It was a year ago when Aaron Rodgers went down on that MetLife Stadium turf in his first moments as a member of the Jets. An Achilles injury meant surgery for the future Hall of Famer and the end of his very brief 2023 season.

Now it's 2024 and Rodgers is back with Gang Green as they visit the reigning NFC champion San Francisco 49ers tonight on "Monday Night Football."

And not only are Jets fans excited about Rodgers Part II, they'll see their players donning new-look "Legacy" uniforms that honor the franchise's history.

"They (fans) have consistently asked for us to return to our roots and we heard them," Jets owner Woody Johnson said in April. "The new uniforms are explicitly designed to look and feel like the New York Jets while refreshing the club's iconic logo, viewed by the fans as our identifiable mark."
