New Jersey rocker Jon Bon Jovi has possibly won over his biggest fan yet.

The "Living on a Prayer" singer and Perth Amboy, New Jersey native helped talk a distressed woman down from leaping off an overpass in Nashville.

Here's more on Bon Jovi's heroic deed and social media's reaction to it.

What did Jon Bon Jovi do?

According to a social media post and video from the Metro Nashville Police Department, Jon Bon Jovi is shown being one of the first people to engage the distraught woman.

Bon Jovi was in Nashville filming a new music video when the incident occurred.

"A shout out to @jonbonjovi & his team for helping a woman on the Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge Tuesday night," read the Metro Nashville Police Department's post on X. "Bon Jovi helped persuade her to come off the ledge over the Cumberland River to safety. "It takes all of us to help keep each other safe - Chief John Drake."

In that video, Jon Bon Jovi , accompanied by another woman, slowly approach the distressed woman, who appears to be dressed in a blue shirt and shorts and dangerously perched on the other side of the bridge's guardrail.

Bon Jovi and his friend then casually talk with the woman before they both embrace her and help lead her back over the guardrail.

While Metro Nashville Police Department officers keep a distance of several feet, Bon Jovi and the woman again embrace for a long time, and she appears to be sobbing.
