    Malik Nabers touchdown: NY Giants rookie WR scores first NFL TD in game vs Commanders

    LANDOVER, Md. - Malik Babers is in the end zone for the first time in the NFL .

    Nabers caught a four-yard touchdown from Daniel Jones with eight seconds left in the second quarter to give the Giants a 12-9 lead late in the first half. The rookie from LSU has five catches for 73 yards and the score, capping an eventful two quarters of action on the same field as his college teammate and close friend, Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels.

    Nabers was forced to leave the field and get checked for a concussion after he took a big hit from Washington's Frankie Luvu at the end of a 28-yard catch and run.
