    After another fun week of the high school football season, it's time to look back on the best performances.

    Read about the players who stood out last week and let us know who you think should be the North Jersey Player of the Week in the poll at the bottom of this page.

    Voting closes at 5 p.m. Thursday.

    Shawn Bellenger, Lyndhurst

    The senior completed 17 of 20 passes for 309 yards and three touchdowns (to three different receivers) as the Golden Bears beat Elmwood Park, 45-0.

    Lamar Best, St. Joseph

    The junior completed 9 of 13 passes for 218 yards and three touchdowns, and also ran for 67 yards and a score, in the Green Knights' 43-0 win over Stepinac (N.Y.) .

    Colin Burns, Ridgewood

    The senior carried the ball 14 times for 164 yards and three touchdowns − all in the second half − in the Maroons' 29-17 win over Ramapo .

    Ty Christianson, Fair Lawn

    The senior completed 7 of 14 passes for 119 yards and two touchdowns, and ran for 60 yards and a score, in the Cutters' 28-7 win over Indian Hills.

    Will Cusick, Cresskill/Emerson

    The senior caught three touchdown passes and ran for another in a 28-7 win over Garfield. His touchdown catches came on throws of 38, 20 and 47 yards.

    Justus Favata, Ramsey

    The junior completed 22 of 33 passes for 224 yards and two touchdowns as the Rams rallied past rival Mahwah, 26-14 .

    Danny Ferrauilo, Wayne Valley

    The junior completed 18 of 32 passes for 308 yards and a touchdown, and also ran for a score, in the Indians' 20-13 win over Passaic Valley.

    Chris Gioia, Rutherford

    The senior ran for 125 yards and two touchdowns, and caught four passes for 101 yards and three touchdowns, in the Bulldogs' 33-0 win over Manchester. He also made five tackles on defense.

    Nolan James, DePaul

    The senior ran for two touchdowns and caught another in the Spartans' 36-20 win over Cardinal Hayes (N.Y.) at Columbia University.

    Reed Kauderer, Demarest

    The junior carried the ball 17 times for 215 yards and four scores, and also caught a 50-yard touchdown pass, in the Norsemen's 41-14 win over Tenafly. He made five tackles and forced a fumble on defense.

    Michael Napolitano, Hasbrouck Heights

    The junior carried the ball 10 times for 113 yards and two touchdowns in the Aviators' 28-6 win over Hawthorne.

    Patrick Randolph, Park Ridge

    The freshman carried the ball 13 times for 207 yards and four touchdowns in the Owls' 34-0 win over Wallington . On defense, he made 11 tackles.

    Kevin Regula, Pascack Valley

    The senior carried the ball 16 times for 155 yards and three touchdowns, and also caught three passes for 50 yards and a score, in the Panthers' 35-0 win over Teaneck.

    Jerzey Ryan, New Milford

    The senior ran for a touchdown and threw for another as the Knights beat Secaucus, 28-13, to start the season 2-0.

    Collin Sabric, Lakeland

    The senior completed 11 of 13 passes for 168 yards and two touchdowns, and ran 17 times for 166 yards and two scores, in the Lancers' 50-28 win over Jefferson.

    Eddie Schaefer, Cliffside Park/Ridgefield

    The senior ran for three touchdowns in the first half of a 47-18 win over Dickinson. His scores came on runs of 15, 20 and 25 yards.

    Aaron Viray, Wayne Hills

    The senior caught three passes for 100 yards and two touchdowns in the Patriots' 30-20 win over Nutley on Friday night.

    Damani Williams, Dwight Morrow

    The senior scored six touchdowns − three passing, two rushing and one on an interception return − and contributed 400 yards of offense in the Maroon Raiders' 46-46 tie against Dumont, the first tie in North Jersey since 2016 .

    Zion Yoon, River Dell

    The junior ran for two touchdowns and threw for another in the Golden Hawks' 42-14 win over rival Paramus.
