After another fun week of the high school soccer season, it's time to look back on the best performances.

Read about the players who stood out last week and let us know who you think should be the North Jersey Player of the Week in the poll at the bottom of this page.

Voting closes at 5 p.m. Thursday.

    Nicole Crane

    DePaul senior

The Penn State commit came through with both goals on Monday when DePaul held off archrival Immaculate Heart, 2-1, in a top-five showdown on the road . Crane followed it up with a goal and two assists on Thursday when the Spartans blew out Paramus Catholic.

    Clara Saade

    Saddle Brook senior

Saade backstopped the Falcons to three wins last week by allowing only one goal. She made 10 saves in total, including the 100th of her career.

    Isabella Zingarelli

    Old Tappan junior

The Golden Knights cruised past Demarest and Indian Hills last week with Zingarelli eclipsing her scoring output from all of last season. She racked up five goals up front and added one assist.

    Teddy Handler

    DePaul sophomore

Handler helped the Spartans pull off the upset of the opening week by making seven saves in a 1-0 shutout win last Monday over then-No. 4 Bergen Catholic. He made two stops in another clean sheet against Paramus Catholic on Thursday.

    Steven Gifford

    Pascack Valley senior

Gifford carried his team's offense in wins over Teaneck and Fair Lawn. In those matches, he chipped in five goals and two assists.

    Adrian Qira

    Paramus senior

Qira has re-established himself as a prolific scorer after missing his sophomore year with a torn ACL and parts of junior year with injury. The Spartans' forward had five goals and one assist in two games last week.

    Jeremy Villegas

    Hawthorne senior

Villegas did not allow a goal in back-to-back divisional wins for the Bears. He logged four saves in a 6-0 victory over Eastern Christian and eight in a 2-0 win over Butler.
