    NY Giants’ keys to victory

The Giants began this week searching for a new kicker after Graham Gano injured his hamstring on the opening kickoff Sunday vs. the Commanders. It could be a factor if this game comes down to a final kick. QB Daniel Jones showed signs of improvement in Week 2, and he had some help from his offensive line, which protected him pretty well. Give Jones some time back there and he can be effective.

    Browns’ keys to victory

QB Deshaun Watson was able to spread the ball around vs. Jacksonville, but he and WR Amari Cooper need to get on the same page quickly. It can still be an explosive combo if they start connecting. Punter Corey Bojorquez is an X-factor as he’s been able to consistently pin opponents deep in their own territory. Winning the field position battle is going to help the Browns win a few of these tight games.

NY Giants vs Browns: Matchup to watch

Giants WR Malik Nabers vs. Browns secondary. Rookie Malik Nabers is already showing how dominant he can be on the field, but he also hit a low in dropping a key fourth-down pass late against the Commanders. Nabers is the Giants’ most explosive weapon so if the Browns’ secondary can keep him quiet, it will limit a Giants offense that is having trouble scoring.

    NY Giants vs Browns prediction

The Browns and Giants each had nightmarish Week 1 losses, but both showed improvement in Week 2. The Giants will keep things close for a while, but the Browns will hold them off and pick up their second victory of the season.

    Browns 24, Giants 19
