As he has for the past four years, New York Jets QB Aaron Rodgers joined Pat McAfee and his fellow co-hosts on "The Pat McAfee Show" every Tuesday afternoon during the NFL season.

The four-time NFL MVP is coming off his second victory (first playing the entire game) with the Jets in the organization's 24-17 victory over the Tennessee Titans in Week 2.

Now, Rodgers will make his home debut Thursday night versus the New England Patriots for the first time since he tore his Achilles four plays into his Jets' tenure last September at MetLife Stadium.

Here's what the future Hall-of-Famer had to say in his unusually brief, near 15-minute interview on the show today:

Aaron Rodgers: 'A win is a win'

Rodgers, dawning a new Jets' hoodie and hat that shows off the team's new logo, started off with a short recap from Sunday's win in Tennessee:

"Doesn't matter how you win in this league, a win is a win. They're (Titans) is a really good defense. We're gonna look back on this one and feel good about coming away with a victory."

The 10-time Pro Bowler added that it will be a challenge playing in their third game in 11 days is a lot but was encouraged by the performance they had in Week 2 to spoil Tennessee's home opener when they were already on a short week after playing on Monday night in Week 1.

The duality of Breece Hall and Braelon Allen in Jets' backfield

Rodgers had high praise for the two running backs who both shined in the victory last Sunday, including Allen scoring the first two touchdowns of his young career:

"They're both studs. I heard about this kid (Allen) at Wisconsin when he was 17 years old playing on the field and now he sits in front of me in meetings and doesn't turn 21 until January. Give him a lot of credit, he's a smart and tough kid. He's fast enough to get around guys and big enough to run over you."

On starting running back Breece Hall:

"He's a do-it-all guy. He can play all three downs and split out and tell me to throw him a go ball. Last year he was dealing with coming back from his knee injury but he looks like a different player this year. I give him a lot of credit. He's going to be a big part of our offense the entire season."

Furthermore, Rodgers' hinted at potentially more of Hall and Allen on the field together like they did this past Sunday to get their best 11 players on offense at the same time.

Developing connection with Jets' wide receiver room

"It takes time. These guys have only been with me for two full games. We're still working through some of that. We're gonna keep getting better on offense as that chemistry continues to flow."

Rodgers stated that one of the crucial parts is what he called "anchor routes". This is where you make an anchor point to store it in your memory. He added that this happens a lot during practice to get it down before the "bullets are flying" during the action of a regular-season game.

On the catch from star wide receiver Garrett Wilson late in the fourth quarter:

"We need to put something together there. That was kind of a backyard play. At the last second, I noticed 'zero' coverage (man-to-man defense) so I just made a protection adjustment to have a little bit of time."

"That's an easy catch for him but for mortals that's not an easy one at all. He made the catch super fluid and easy."
