For a fifth consecutive season, New York Jets QB Aaron Rodgers joins Pat McAfee and crew on the "The Pat McAfee Show" every Tuesday throughout the NFL season.

Rodgers and the team are coming off their most impressive win of the year in a 24-3 victory over the New England Patriots last Thursday night at MetLife Stadium.

After only speaking for roughly 15 minutes a week ago due to it being on a short week for the Jets, the four-time NFL MVP sat down for his usual, near-hour interview on the sports show Tuesday.

Here are a few topics Rodgers discussed during his interview:

Aaron Rodgers: 'My body's in a good spot'

The Super Bowl-winning QB led off with his thoughts on his performance from last Thursday night's victory.

"The progression from me physically is going to continue the more comfortable I feel on the field and doing some of the stuff I was doing when I was a younger player. My body's in a good spot, it's just mentally overcoming those hurdles and doing some of the things I've done before," Rodgers said.

The 40-year-old signal caller went on to describe how he felt more confident in running for first downs and maneuvering around the pocket compared to his first two weeks back from his season-ending Achilles injury he suffered last September.

"Offensively, we talk a lot about taking care of the football, first and foremost" Rodgers said. "We had no turnovers and were great in situational football, going 3-for-4 in the red zone and 10-15 on third downs."

Aaron Rodgers says Jets defense was 'all over the field'

He gave high praise for how well the defense played, giving up just 139 total yards and notching seven sacks on Patriots quarterbacks.

"Defensively, that's the standard for them," Rodgers said. "They (defense) were all over the field, created a turnover and were incredible in situational football.

"A lot of good measurables on that, but the most important one was the win."

Aaron Rodgers previews Broncos game, and London schedule

After breaking down their Week 3 victory, Rodgers went into this weekend's matchup against Denver and the opponents coming up.

"Denver's coming off of a nice win against the undefeated Buccaneers," Rodgers said. "Defensively they throw a lot of different things at you and they played really well on defense. They had two safeties against Seattle in Week 1. Didn't give up a ton of yardage or points versus Pittsburgh (Steelers) in that game. They've been playing well and will come in riding high.

"After that, we have two undefeated teams, so it's gonna be a good stretch for us. One of those will be in London so it will be a stressor on the whole travel schedule."

Aaron Rodgers takes a jab at Haason Reddick's agent

McAfee went into a story from The Athletic's Ben Standig , who in the week leading up to the season interviewed NFL agents on the best and worst franchises, which included one agent's thoughts on the Jets' handling of the Rodgers missed minicamp drama that was one of the headlines of the NFL this summer.

In the article, an anonymous agent said this about Rodgers and the Jets situation:

"There is complete disarray over there. Look at how they've handled Aaron Rodgers. Has one player had more power than him? He skipped minicamp. They have been unable to convert him into a team player. The vibe inside the building is terrible."

On Tuesday, Rodgers responded and took a jab at Haason Reddick's agent, with the defensive lineman notably reporting to the team since being trade to the Jets in the offseason:

"The culture is the opposite of what that article said. I didn't read it but just reading the headline there it sounds like it was written by Haason Reddick's agent or former agent to try and disparage our great organization. You realize how ridiculous some of these offseason storylines can be.

"Is anyone talking about minicamp anymore?" Rodgers added. "Is that an important contributor in the season? The answer is no. It shouldn't because it's not."

Rodgers downplayed the viral interaction between him and Jets head coach Robert Saleh on the sideline during Thursday night's game:

"He (Saleh) is not a big hugger," Rodgers said. "But I know now. It was a good learning experience for the both of us.

"I love Robert (Saleh) and we were laughing about it after the game. We got a good thing going and a lot of belief right now."
