The Crusaders (3-1) entered the game ranked No. 1 in the New Jersey Super 25 rankings , while the Ironmen (2-1) were No. 7.
Bergen Catholic hung on to win 24-20 .
Don Bosco now leads the all-time series 41-37-2, but Bergen Catholic has won the last three meetings.

On Bergen Catholic's first offensive play of the second half, Don Bosco forced and recovered a fumble.
Bergen Catholic took over on offense after Don Bosco turned the ball over on downs. Dylan Wrona is the new quarterback for the Ironmen.
Facing a third-and-long, Don Bosco quarterback Deven Sisler scrambled and was hit head-to-head as he slid a couple yards past the line of scrimmage. Bergen Catholic was called for a late hit on the play. Sisler was attended to on the field for nearly 10 minutes as players from both teams took a knee. He was able to walk off the field under his own power, wearing a neck brace.
The Ironmen's opening drive of the half included a fourth-down conversion but they were forced to punt from midfield. The snap sailed over the punter's head and was scooped up by Benjamin Carey and returned for a score. Bergen Catholic 14, Don Bosco 7

On fourth-and-3 inside their own 40-yard line, Bergen Catholic completed a long touchdown pass, but it was called back due to an illegal man downfield penalty. After the penalty, the Crusaders punted.

Bergen Catholic went three-and-out on its second drive, forced to punt for the second time.
The Ironmen picked up a couple first downs on their first drive of the game, but the drive ended when the Crusaders recovered a fumble at their own 33-yard line.
Bergen Catholic received the opening kickoff. After picking up a first down on a Najee Calhoun run, the Crusaders threw three straight incomplete passes and were forced to punt.
Don Bosco won the coin toss and deferred to the second half.
A packed crowd turned out for this game on a foggy and misty day in Oradell. Los Angeles Angels pitcher Caden Dana , a Don Bosco alum, is in attendance.
Renick Dorilas, a senior transfer from Union, is eligible to play for Don Bosco for the first time this season.
