The Mets are heading to the playoffs.

Following a late, come-from-behind win over the Atlanta Braves on Monday afternoon in the first leg of a doubleheader, New York clinched a berth in the Wild Card round of the 2024 postseason. It is a massive achievement for the club that started the year 0-5 and was 11 games under .500 roughly two months into the season.

The Mets' playoff opponent in the Wild Card round could not be determined until after the second game on Monday.

With a split, the Mets will be the No. 6 seed and travel to Milwaukee to play the Brewers. Had they swept, the Mets would have played at San Diego against the Padres.

What is the Mets' playoff schedule?

The Mets will start the postseason on Tuesday in a best-of-three series.

The series will be in Milwaukee, with Game 1 scheduled for 5:32 p.m. ET. Click below for the full schedule
