It's a moment that will go down in New York Mets ' history.

Trailing, 2-0, to the Milwaukee Brewers in the ninth inning of the deciding NL Wild Card Series Game 3 on Thursday night, Pete Alonso stepped to the plate for what some believed might be his final at-bat in a Mets uniform.

Alonso then blasted a three-run homer to right off Brewers closer Devin Williams to give the Mets an improbable 3-2 lead. The Mets would tack on another run and defeat the Brewers, 4-2, to win the series and advance to the NLDS.
