Boys soccer: 2024 Bergen County Tournament bracket, scores, schedule

Ridgewood locked up the No. 1 seed in the Bergen County boys soccer tournament and one of eight byes through the opening round. The Maroons, ranked No. 1 in the North Jersey rankings, have won the title seven times but never since 1993.

The bottom half of the 24-team bracket is headlined by the tournament's returning co-champions in No. 2 Ramsey and No. 3 Ramapo.

Play begins with the opening round on Sunday, second round games next Wednesday and quarterfinals on Oct. 19. The title game is set for Nov. 2 at Indian Hills High School.

This year, the BCCA is holding two concurrent Bergen Invitational Tournaments. The eight teams that lose in the first round of the main championship draw will drop down to BIT 1.

One matchup to watch for is a possible Round of 16 battle between eighth-seeded Old Tappan and ninth-seed Garfield. Despite being ranked second in North Jersey and ninth in the state, the Boilermakers would have to go on the road in a rematch of last year's North 1, Group 3 final.
