Justin Timberlake reschedules canceled Newark Prudential Center concert

Justin Timberlake kept his promise to his New Jersey fans.

The singer announced on Instagram Thursday that he will perform at the Prudential Center Tuesday, Oct. 15, exactly a week after his originally scheduled concert. The show was postponed shortly before doors opened due to an unspecified injury, but Timberlake was determined to reschedule as soon as he could.

"Jersey, I told you I'd make it up to you and I meant it," he wrote. "So sorry that I had to postpone. CAN'T WAIT TO SEE Y'ALL!"

The Prudential Center will honor all previously purchased tickets, and ticketholders will receive more information on the show via email, the arena announced .

Timberlake is in the middle of The Forget Tomorrow World Tour , which began in April and has already included more than 50 concerts throughout North America and Europe. Next week's rescheduled date falls between shows in Washington, D.C., on Sunday, and two in Toronto on Thursday and Friday.
