As the Yankees look to end the Royals' season, tensions are starting to boil.

The benches and bullpens cleared in the bottom of the sixth inning of Game 4 in the American League Division Series after Maikel Garcia took exception to a tag from Anthony Volpe at second base that complete a double play. After Garcia appeared to have words with Volpe on his way back to the dugout, multiple Yankees stepped over in defense of Volpe.

Gleyber Torres tried to walk Garcia away from Volpe, while Jazz Chisholm came over to yap at Garcia. Gerrit Cole, in the midst of a gem, gave a stern look as well.

The field cleared quickly, and no punches were thrown.

Shortly afterward, the Royals picked up their first run of the night off of Cole to cut the deficit to 3-1 with two outs. Salvador Perez then popped out to end the inning.

The Yankees ended up with the 3-1 victory to win the series, 3-1.
