When does ALCS begin? Here's the Yankees' schedule for Game 1 with time, TV channel

The New York Yankees are one step closer toward their goal.

They are back in the American League Championship Series after eliminating the Kansas City Royals in Game 4 of the American League Division Series on Thursday night.

The Yankees will face either the Detroit Tigers or Cleveland Guardians in the best-of-seven series that begins Monday night at Yankee Stadium.

This marks the Yankees' first appearance in the ALCS since 2022 when they were swept by the Houston Astros. They are looking to win their first World Series title since 2009 when they defeated the Philadelphia Phillies.
