Yankees vs. Cleveland Guardians prediction: Our pick for ALCS winner

NEW YORK – In this postseason, things couldn’t have broken any better for the Yankees.

Aaron Boone’s club didn’t have to wrestle with the Baltimore Orioles or go through Houston and slay the Astros – although that last matchup had some appeal to Yankees Universe.

What the Yankees received this October was the gift of the AL Central, a division they dominated again this season to the tune of a 24-7 record.

On Thursday night at Kauffman Stadium, despite an AL Division Series that was evenly matched midway through Game 3, the Yankees found a way past the Kansas City Royals in four games.

Now, the Yankees can set up their pitching exactly how they want for this best-of-seven AL Championship Series, while the Cleveland Guardians are fresh off Saturday’s decisive ALDS Game 5 win against the Detroit Tigers.

With home field advantage and a bullpen that is firing at its best all season, the World Series will finally be back in the Bronx.

yeah he's going to take it all away I'm hoping for a Subway series it doesn't matter but the Yankee will take the Mets too whoever it is they're going to roll them right over I said it right from about the right after the All-Star break I said this is our year we're going to do it and the beginning I said it and then we started fading away a little bit and I said I don't know now I know we're going to do it feel geared up and they want to go just starting to come around he starts going soda with SoDo him and Stanton and Torres leading off is the best thing the Yankees ever did was stick him in the lead old spot amazing we're going to be rocking and rolling

it will be the Yankees they will come on top and they will go into the World Series I hope it's a Subway series cuz that's fun but it'll be what it'll be and I think the Mets are going to beat the Dodgers and I think we're going to have a Subway Series and that will be cool as hell
