After another exciting week of the high school football season, it's time to look back on the best performances.

Read about the players who stood out last week and let us know who you think should be the North Jersey Player of the Week in the poll at the bottom of this page.

Clary Almonte

Passaic senior opposite

Almonte led the Indians to a 25-18, 25-9 win in their Passaic County Tournament opener against Paterson Arts, in which she landed 11 aces.

Ava Gravina

Wood-Ridge senior outside hitter

Gravina began the week by serving a career-best 12 aces vs. Palisades Park, and she helped the Blue Devils go 3-1 with 28 kills, 25 digs and 17 aces.

Kara Kim

Demarest sophomore libero

The Norsewomen won two more matches to extend their string of victories to five in a row. Kim contributed 14 digs, 6 assists and 7 aces.

Sude Otaner

Ridgewood senior setter

Otaner led the Maroons to a 3-1 week, which helped get them back within two games of .500. She posted 60 assists, 16 digs, 9 kills and 10 aces.

Marissa Petrocelli

River Dell freshman outside hitter

In three matches, Petrocelli tallied 20 kills, 8 digs, 2 blocks and 2 aces to help the Hawks put together a 2-1 week that raised their record to 11-2.

Gaby Rosato

Waldwick sophomore setter

The Warriors ran their winning streak to five with victories over Midland Park and New Milford. Rosato registered 39 assists, 24 service points and 12 aces.
