Aaron Rodgers finally gets his guy.

The Jets traded for Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, who reported the news first on Tuesday morning.

This comes a week after the organization fired head coach Robert Saleh and named Jeff Ulbrich, the defensive coordinator, interim head coach for the remainder of the season.

Adams was reportedly already in the Jets' building less 15 minutes after news of the trade broke, according to The Athletic's Dianna Russini .

This now reunites the nearly unstoppable QB-WR duo, who spent eight years together as member of the Green Bay Packers from 2014 to 2021.

Here's more on what we know so far about the massive trade:

    Davante Adams trade details

Adams was traded from the Raiders to the Jets in exchange for a 2025 conditional third round pick that can become a second round selection based on performances this season.

This now gives Rodgers a dominant 1A-1B duo at the wide receiver position, with Adams and fellow wide receiver Garrett Wilson posing a threat to all future defenses that they won't be able to double team both of them.

With the addition of Adams, this likely means limited to little playing time for wide receiver Mike Williams, who played at least 58 percent of the snaps in three of the last four games, including a season-high 71 snap percentage in Week 5 against the Vikings in London.

In 11 personnel (one RB, one TE and three WRs) situations, the answer will likely be Adams and fellow former Packers-turned-Jets WR Allen Lazard -- who had a season high 114 yards in Week 7 -- on the outside and Wilson in the slot.

Most 12 personnel groups will probably feature Wilson and Adams on the field with a mix of Lazard in there at certain times.

    Davante Adams stats

Adams has not been on the field since Week 3 as he's currently been dealing with a hamstring injury. Through the first weeks, the three-time All-Pro posted 18 catches for 209 receiving yards and a touchdown while being targeted 27 times with the Raiders.

The Rodgers-to-Adams connection was virtually unstoppable in Green Bay. The former Fresno State WR posted 669 receptions, 8,121 yards and 73 touchdowns in eight years with the Packers, with a majority of them coming from Rodgers and leading him to becoming one of the best wide receivers in the game in that span.

In 2020 and 2021, Adams earned his first two All-Pro nods, finishing with 115+ catches, over 1,300 yards and at least 11 touchdowns in both seasons, with Rodgers winning back-to-back MVPs in that span.

    Jets depth chart update

With Adams now a member of the Jets, here's the current state of the depth chart for the playmakers on offense:

    QB: Aaron Rodgers

    RB1: Breece Hall

    RB2: Braelon Allen

    WR1: Davante Adams

    WR2: Garrett Wilson

    WR3: Allen Lazard

    WR4: Mike Williams

    TE1: Tyler Conklin

    Jets 2025 NFL draft picks

Following the trade, the Jets currently have eight picks in the upcoming 2025 NFL Draft, which ironically enough, is being held in Rodgers and Adams former stomping grounds of Green Bay, Wisconsin next April.

Here's what picks Gang Green has in each round as of right now:

    Round 1 (Jets)

    Round 2 (Jets)

    Round 3 (Jets)*

    Round 3 (Lions)

    Round 4 (Jets)

    Round 5 (Jets)

    Round 6 (Jets)

    Round 6 (Chiefs)

*Will become second round pick in 2025 NFL Draft depending on how Adams performs rest of season .
