Yankees vs Dodgers World Series odds: How to bet on who will win series, MVP and Game 1

One of the most highly anticipated World Series in recent memory is officially on deck.

Having won their respective pennants, the Yankees and Dodgers will meet in the 2024 World Series, with Game 1 from Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles on Friday, Oct. 25.

Friday's opening game of the Fall Classic marks the 12th time (most in MLB history) these two historic franchises have met in the World Series , with the last one coming 43 years ago in 1981 when the Dodgers won in six games over the Bronx Bombers.

The Yankees have had the clear advantage over the Dodgers in this postseason matchup, coming out on top in eight of the 11 previous World Series meetings.

Now, it's a clash of the titans with the best trio of players in baseball on both sides with the Yankees' Aaron Judge, Juan Soto and Giancarlo Stanton against the Dodgers' Shohei Ohtani, Mookie Betts and Freddie Freeman.

Following truly outlandish performances in the regular season, this matchup features the presumed AL and NL MVP winners going head-to-head in Judge versus Ohtani, who will all but likely each have multiple MVPs to their name following the World Series.

With Game 1 still a few days away, it's never too early to look to see who the oddsmakers believe will win this year's Fall Classic.
