    Flooding Closes Roads in Berkeley County

    BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. – The Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office is closely watching road conditions and warning drivers to be mindful of roads closed due to flooding from Tropical Storm Debby.

    Deputies are also urging drivers to avoid driving around road barricades.

    “Please do not move traffic barricades. They have been placed to close a road for your safety,” BCSO posted to its official app.

    The following roads have been closed, according to BCSO:

    Goose Creek

    – N Main Street at State Road

    Hanahan

    – Maple Street at Yeamans Hall Road

    Huger

    – Hoover Road at Highway 41

    – Cainhoy Road at Pompion Hill Lane

    – Cainhoy Road at Charity Church Road

    – 1079 French Quarter Creek Road

    Ladson

    – College Park Road at Trinity Place

    – Oxford Road at Village Park Drive

    – Trinity Place at Cornell Drive

    – Wagon Trail Road at Wisteria Street

    Moncks Corner

    – 116 Foxbank Plantation Blvd.

    – Highway 402 at Turnaround Court

    – Trotters Lane at Foxbank Plantation Blvd.

    – 1042 Cane Gully Road

    – 1105 N Highway 52

    – Heatley Street at Newell Street

    – 101 S Live Oak Drive

    – Mountain Pine Road at Resinwood Road

    Wando

    Guerin Landing Road at Halfway Creek Road

    – Nellifield Creek Drive at Cypress Walk Way
