BOWLING GREEN — Organizations with ideas to enhance the city or encourage economic development can apply for micro-grants between $500 and $5,000.

In an effort to encourage the advancements of the Community Action Plan, the City of Bowling Green has allocated the grant funding.

The funds will provide organizations and neighborhood groups with support for activities that promote citizen engagement, enhance neighborhood beautification, improve safety, encourage economic development, and/or address neighborhood needs.

Submit an application that meets these conditions: advance the principles/ideals of the Community Action Plan, be well planned, demonstrate that funds will be effectively used (where possible, show collaboration with others to reduce costs), and explain how the grant would impact the project.

Applications are being accepted through June 7.

The application and more information are available at buff.ly/3wyj55G .
