BOWLING GREEN – The Wood County District Public Library’s new bookmobile will debut Friday at the 251 N. Main St. library.

A ribbon-cutting and remarks from library director Michael Penrod at 10 a.m. will be followed with tours led by bookmobile and outreach staff from 10:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. Craft stations, including a folding-paper craft to make a mini-bookmobile, will be open to all ages.

The bookmobile has expanded from 11 public stops to 19, and visits schools, daycares, and senior living facilities around the library’s service district. To find a stop, visit wcdpl.org/bookmobile .

The event will move to the library atrium if it rains. No registration is required. For more information, call 419-352-5104 ext. 221 or email bookmobile@wcdpl.org.
