    Special Events: Thrift and sip at Maumee Bay Brewing Co.

    Come peruse second hand clothing, jewelry, home decor, and more while sipping on a cold local brew at Maumee Bay Brewing Co.’s Thrift & Sip event on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. You never know what treasures you’ll find at Thrift & Sip, which takes place at the Maumee Bay Brewing Co. at 27 Broadway St. Admission is free.     ■ Local watering hole Papa’s Tavern has earned a reputation as a great place to see live music in Toledo. On Saturday, the venue is holding its 18th annual Papapalooza , a day-long celebration featuring two stages of live music, a car show, bike show, and food.     ■ To bookend the long weekend on Monday, stop by Inside the Five Brewing Co. at 5703 Main St. in Sylvania to help the locally owned eating and drinking establishment celebrate its 6th anniversary. The celebration starts at 11 a.m., following the annual Memorial Day parade through downtown Sylvania. There will be live music, food trucks, and of course, plenty of locally brewed beer. The parade itself will begin at 10:15 a.m. Monday at Northview High School and wind its way through the city before finishing at 11:15 a.m. at Veterans Memorial Field with a wreath laying ceremony.
