Two-week Poe Rd. closure in Bowling Green starts June 10

BOWLING GREEN — Poe Road between Brim Road and Village Drive will be closed beginning June 10.

City crews will be connecting the new waterline, which was installed as part of the Village subdivision waterline improvements project, to the existing water main.

This closure is expected for two weeks and is dependent on weather and progress of work. Access to and from driveways for residents will be maintained.

Village residents and those who live along Poe within the closure should have their refuse/recycling containers placed at the curb by 6 a.m. the morning of collection.

Once the waterline portion of the project is complete, new curbs and catch basins will be installed, with street paving to follow.

Work is expected to be completed by Nov. 30.
