University of Toledo women’s golf coach Jenny Coluccio announced on Monday that she is resigning from her post, a position she has held the past six years.

According to the school’s news release, Coluccio is leaving the Rockets’ program to pursue a new professional opportunity.

"Leaving this program, Toledo, and coaching, is very bittersweet," Coluccio said. “The experiences and relationships I've built here and in coaching will always hold a special place in my heart, with the players being at the top of that list. Every one of them have a special place in my heart and have shaped me to who I am today. I also want to give a special thanks to [athletic director] Bryan Blair and [women's golf administrator] Nicole Alderson, whose exceptional leadership and guidance are taking Toledo to new heights. I am grateful for everything I've learned in this profession and to all the people I have had the privilege to know along the way. Here's to new beginnings and lasting memories.”

Coluccio guided the Rockets to four tournament titles as well as runner-up finishes at the MAC Championships in 2019 and 2024 during her six years at the school.

"I would like to thank coach Coluccio for her six years of hard work and dedication," Blair said. “Her commitment to the student-athletes in her program produced not only excellent golfers, but also graduates prepared to thrive in life. We are very grateful for Jenny's service to the University and wish her nothing but the very best as she pursues new professional aspirations.”
