The city’s Clean Toledo recycling program continues with another drop-off recycling day from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Epworth United Methodist Church.

Residents can bring a variety of items for recycling, including air conditioning units, refrigerators/freezers, and large appliances, as well as TVs, CRT monitors, scrap metal, clothing, and household goods to the event at 4855 W. Central Ave. in Ottawa Hills.

Household hazardous waste, including oil-based paints, stains, and latex paint will also be accepted, as well as packing Styrofoam, excluding plates, cups, and other food-grade containers.

Individuals can drop off as many as 10 noncommercial tires, on or off the rim, for 50 cents each.

Sticks, branches, leaves, and grass clippings can also be recycled. Paper goods like cardboard, phone books, and newspapers will also be accepted, and a document shredding and recycling service will also be available.

Medical equipment will also be accepting Saturday.

For the schedule and more information, contact Engage Toledo at 419-936-2020.
