BCSN to celebrate 20th anniversary at 'A night with Jim Tressel featuring Jerome Bettis'

Buckeye Broadband and BCSN will join Mosaic Family Zone to celebrate BCSN’s 20th anniversary as host of “A night with Jim Tressel featuring Jerome Bettis”

The celebration is slated for 6 p.m. on Oct. 28 at the Pinnacle in Maumee.

Last year’s inaugural event had a sellout crowd of 500 guests as Tressel, a national-championship winning coach with Ohio State in 2003, hosted former Ohio State quarterback Kirk Herbstreit in the first series of conversations.

Bettis, this year’s guest, played collegiately at Notre Dame, and most notably in the NFL for the Pittsburgh Steelers. He helped the Steelers win a Super Bowl in 2006, and he currently ranks No. 8 on the NFL’s all-time rushing list.

Bettis was later inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2015.

Buckeye Broadband and BCSN will also recognize the top coaches of the BCSN era (2000-24) at the event.

Mosaic Family Zone is the lead organization in the Old South End neighborhood creating a Cradle-to-Career pipeline for families and children. This effort is highlighted by its recent 90-percent success rate for children entering kindergarten.
