Morgan shared that her and her boyfriend “the man in uniform” broke up.

She was completely blindsided and did not see the breakup coming. She thought she protected herself in every way she could and that she had found the one, and even mentioned on the show a few times how their relationship was heading in the right direction.

As they were about to move in together, he had an epiphany and told her that because he is Jewish, and she is not, he does not think they could be together. They had multiple conversations about it, and she thought they were on the same page which is why she was so blindsided about it. He did not ask Morgan to convert to Judaism for him and she thinks his reasons were based more around the culture of it. As they got more serious in their relationship, he realized having a Jewish wife is more important for him in the future. They had a follow-up conversation after the breakup happened and he seemed very sure in his decision, so she does not think he will change his mind, and they will get back together. Morgan feels that not many people talk about this topic or can relate, so it is making it harder for her to understand. She does feel good that she finally found someone who gave her hope and showed her there are good men out there. But she also noted it sucks even more because of that, and she was blindsided because she thought this was it.

Bobby Bones tried to shine a positive light on the situation and noted that she didn’t pick a loser to be a boyfriend this time. He can see that she is maturing in knowing what she wants in a relationship and that she has started to look for more quality guys in what they stand in and believe in. He understands if they are not compatible at that level that the relationship should not go further, but it still hurts and sucks for both of them. He does believe Morgan will look back at this moment as big-time growth.

Morgan did share a moment she had this weekend while trying to process everything. Her new foster dog, Sunshine, had got adopted and while she was taking her to her new home, she told her “You’re so special and I know this is scary and you’re afraid of what’s to come, but this is going to be so beautiful for you.” As she said that to the dog, she realized she needed to say that to herself too and found some healing. She still believes he is a great human and is happy they identified this issue before the relationship got more serious. She’s also looking forward to the day she can look back at this scenario and know she found someone who is good and showed her there are good men out there. She hopes this maybe prompts conversations other people may need to have with their partner and helps them get through whatever direction they need to go!
