Bobby Heads To Adult Basketball Camp This Weekend

Bobby Bones is headed to Coach Calipari’s fantasy adult basketball camp this weekend at the University of Arkansas. There will be 40 other people there who also signed up, but Bones does not know anyone else who is going.

He is staying with his brother-in-law and won’t be bunking with random people. He’s not sure what to wear but he bought an old 80s Arkansas basketball uniform he might show up in. He’s not sure if the other people at the camp will be ex-basketball players or just average fans there to have fun. He’s hoping he falls somewhere in the middle and isn’t the worst player there and that he does not get hurt. Lunchbox thinks it’s going to be nothing but old, fat businessman, and if that’s the case, Bones has a chance to be really good.

Bones feels there will be some people worse and some real ballers there and he hopes he just lands somewhere in the middle and that he doesn’t tare anything or get injured. He know he will be one of the most competitive people there and that he’ll probably get into some verbal fights. He shared he gets “mouthy” when he’s competing, which he isn’t proud of so the last few years he’s become better at controlling it, but he thinks that side of him will come back out this weekend.

At the camp, there will be an evaluation period where the coaches walk around and watch how you play and draft who they want on their team. There is also a tip-off dinner with Coach Calipari where he could bring a plus one, but his wife rather be caught dead than at a fantasy camp. He hasn’t done any workouts to prepare, but he’s going to try hard!
