Friend of The Show Got On New Season of Wheel of Fortune

A friend of the Bobby Bones Show, Brent Michaels will be on Wheel of Fortune with Ryan Seacrest this week! He's the Program Director in Bakersfield and has visited the show a few times.

He tapped the episode back in July and knew Seacrest would be the host. He got on after he received an email asking if he was interested in going on Wheel of Fortune. He agreed and then went through the process to see if he was a good candidate. He sent in a video showing off his personality and then waited to hear if they were interested. He had a few Zoom meetings after that and explained if you pass all the steps, they invite you to come on the show and play! One of the rounds is them challenging your Wheel of Fortune skills in a practice round, which he thought he did okay in. He got the impression that you don’t need to get everything correct, they just want to see how you react under pressure and if you could continue being fun and have a good personality. The process took a few months before he filmed his episode!

Michaels has been on other game shows before like 25 Words or Less and People Puzzler . On 25 Words or Less he won $10K and teased that he could not share what happens on his episode of Wheel of Fortune . For Michaels, Wheel of Fortune was always the iconic game show that if he ever got a chance to be on, he would take it. He also thought Seacrest did a great job hosting! Lunchbox really wants to be on a game show, so Michaels encouraged him to keep trying because they are always looking for contestants! He told Lunchbox to go to the game shows website, send them a video and be willing to travel wherever the game show is taping on your own dime.

His episode of Wheel of Fortun e airs Wednesday, September 18th.
