Operation Christmas Child spokesperson to speak

Area residents will have an opportunity to hear first-hand stories of how Operation Christmas Child impacts lives.

The Camellia Area Team will be hosting local events featuring the inspirational testimony of a young man who received a shoebox as a child in Fiji.

East Brewton First Baptist Church will host the first event on Friday, Aug. 23 from 6 to 8 p.m. The church is located at 1201 Shoffner Street in East Brewton.

A second opportunity will be presented at the Bower Memorial Baptist Church on Saturday, Aug. 24 from 2 to 4 p.m. The church is located at 301 Wild Ave. in Evergreen.

Zac, the shoebox recipient from Fiji, will share his story that will bless your heart.

Attendees are invited to bring a friend and enjoy the fellowship that will include refreshments and free shoebox giveaways.
