During a performance at Soundside Music Festival on Saturday, Vermont native Noah Kahan apologized to Connecticut for previous jokes about whether the state is part of New England.

Noah Kahan's apology to Connecticut came months after he made a comment about the state during a July appearance on "Late Night with Seth Meyers."

While talking about planning his outfit for his Fenway Park shows, Kahan said he was planning on wearing overalls with New England area codes.

“And I’m even including Connecticut in that,” he joked.

Meyers, who is from New Hampshire, agreed with Kahan.

“I mean, we don’t count it either in New Hampshire,” he said.
