Bolognese vs. Bologna? Pot Roast vs. Potluck? A neurotic clean-freak with a side of hypochondria vs. a slob with gambling issues who kills goldfish in his spare time? These are just some of the battles to be fought in Neil Simon’s “The Odd Couple” that will have you hysterically laughing. The Arts Council of the Twin Counties says “Get your tickets right away so you can place your bet on who and what is the winner!”

Directed by Ginger Correll, this laugh-out-loud comedy plays Friday October 4th and 11th at 7pm, Saturday, October 5th and 12th at 7pm, and Sunday, October 13th at 2pm at the Historic 1908 Courthouse in Independence, Virginia. Adult tickets are $15 and Senior and Student tickets are $12. Advance tickets are encouraged, due to the limited seating at the Historic 1908 Courthouse. Tickets can be purchased on-line at www.artsculturalcouncil.org/the-box-office, or by contacting the Arts Council of the Twin Counties at 276-238-1217 or info@artsculturalcouncil.org.

Journey back to the 1960s with an incredible cast of performers in this Tony Award-winning comedy! The Arts Council production features two of the finest area actors, Patrick Butler as Oscar Madison and Brant Burgiss at Felix Unger. The cast is rounded-out with the Poker Gang which includes Laura Kennedy as Speed, Michael Malloy as Vinnie, David Roberson as Roy, and Matt Hershock as Murray, along with the English Lamb Chops, Nicole Butt as Cecily Pigeon, and Laura Romanowski as Gwendolyn Pigeon.
