Bobbitt wins BRCC Memorial Tourney

The BRCC Ladies’ Golf Association held its 2024 Memorial Tournament on August 21. This tournament was held in remembrance of all the ladies who played in years past. This year’s winner of the Memorial cup was Sherri Bobbitt with a net score of 66. Tournament participants were Trish Golding, Mary Jane Carico, Alice Hill, Joyce Phillips, Jackie Butler, Phyllis Durland, Jeanie Barbrow, Margaret Cheek, Sherri Bobbitt, Janice Dillon, Martha Easter, Delilah Richardson, and Janet Nuckolls.

Prizes were awarded for closest to the pin. Winners were as follows:

Hole 4 — Janet Nuckolls

Hole 7—Alice Hill

Hole 12 –Delilah Richardson

Hole 17—Mary Jane Carico

Phyllis Durland won best putting score of 32
