IRS warning American people, God is warning America and the evil people that represented In the Bible, God warns Babylon in several places, including Jeremiah 51, Isaiah 13–14, and Revelation 18: Jeremiah 51 In this passage, the Lord says he will defend Jerusalem's cause and avenge them by drying up Babylon's sea and springs. He also predicts that Babylon will become a heap of ruins, a place of horror and scorn, and a place where no one lives. Isaiah 13–14 In these passages, Isaiah prophesies that Babylon will be destroyed, and that this destruction symbolizes what will happen to those who fight against God's people or focus on worldly things. Isaiah also compares the king of Babylon to Lucifer, or Satan.
