Godly leaders protect justice by being fair, unbiased, and compassionate. The knowledge and discernment of godly rulers enable them to make morally right decisions. Since we are the complete embodiment of Jesus Christ, we have an obligation to emulate the virtues of our just, merciful, kind, and moral monarch. Some that come to mind are someone who is centered and offers; someone who is intelligent, bold, kind, and loving; someone who has empathy; and someone who puts the needs of others before their own.  The word does not always imply tremendous power or a large territory in the Bible. Many people who belong in the chief or leadership category are referred to as kings. The Bible uses the term to refer to both Christ, the Son of God, as the head and ruler of the Church and to God as the sovereign and ruler of the cosmos. The medieval kings of Europe were the originators of the antiquated concept of the divine right. They declared themselves to be God's chosen ones, his emissaries on Earth. These kings were untouchable and free to do as they pleased. They demanded complete submission from the populace they controlled.The word does not always imply tremendous power or a large territory in the Bible. Numerous Kings are hereditary sovereigns when they hold the powers of government by right of birth or inheritance, and elective when raised to the throne by choice. In the context of prehistory, antiquity and contemporary indigenous peoples, the title may refer to tribal kingship. Also known as: divine kingship. sacred kingship, religious and political concept by which a ruler is seen as an incarnation, manifestation, mediator, or agent of the sacred or holy (the transcendent or supernatural realm).
